I've made a few holiday logos in the past and decided to throw that one up for Halloween. Glad to see someone noticed!
That Magic link went to a store I made for Magic: The Gathering using the Vimm's Lair template. I made searchable listings of every card and used my collection for inventory (I have several mostly-complete sets). I made some sales but I stopped playing for a while so without fresh inventory I closed it.
I love search engines, they bring me lots of traffic. I've always used frames which some engines don't like, and JavaScript links (like the main menu) are tough to follow. Since engines are much more flexible these days though.

I noticed the 'new' logo that you used this past Halloween... from 1999 it turns out. I didn't find my way here until 2007.
What did the "Magic" button link to?
