It appears the Japanese version has in fact disappeared.  I *think* I remember Vimm saying a while back that he was going to remove all the Japanese-language ROMs, but as I remember, I didn't understand his explanation 100%.  :-/

I usually prefer to play Japanese games in their original language (partly for practicing the language), and I know I used to download Final Fantasy 2 for the NES in Japanese from this site before, but I can't find it anymore (I don't have the old downloaded file anymore, either).
Is it still on this site?
Or can I find a copy somewhere else?

I play on NEStopia, and the only file I've found so far is mildly annoying because the character portraits are ugly black squares when I open and close the menus.
