I don't know about memory cards or disk swapping, but I tried out Legend of Mana and was able to get past the video you mentioned and wander around my Home. While I'm learning many PS1 games floating around the net have copy errors, without proof I can't tell whether it's an emulator issue or a copy issue. I discovered my Front Mission 3 had a fatal loading error halfway through and it took a while to find a clean copy to fix it.

I played Suikoden 1 and now would like to load the data into Suikoden 2, but it's giving me an error. In all honesty I didn't expect this to work, but I thought I would bring it up in case their is a solution. My biggest concern though is that I want to play FF7, but I'm now worried that if I play till the end of a disc that I won't be able to load into the next disc as the save file may end up the same way.
Mainly looking for advice and/or conformation that others have gotten the saves to transfer over to other discs.
Also I can't get Legend of Mana to work past the first video sequence after placing the mailbox. I don't care about it that much, but I thought I would bring it up if per chance you can give me some advice on how to fix it or something.
