The Ubuntu/JULinux Mission Creep Combo-Challenge!

I wouldn't have had much chance of landing these downloads in one shot, though.

Pause/Resume was a must, but the key was getting some 'extended functionality'
from the Recycling Bin to reload failed/corrupted downloads.

And change servers mid-download!

The JULinux server change at ~600 mb was a calculated risk; I didn't have an md5 for the ISO on the first server,
but had no reason to think that it would be different on the second server.

There were a few tense moments post-download while waiting for the check sum...

Success!

I've been lying low, trying to recover some of the braggadocio spent on putting these posts together.

But my Win Modem has been champing at the bit for some more action; I think it's even starting to have delusions of grandeur...

Hats off to your triumph, Tarbolde. :-)

Your Dial-up connection obviously worked better than mine; it'd "conk out" at business hours. Its speed would run so slow, the servers assumed their was no internet connection at all.
