Re: Final Fantasy IX .cue problem

Fixed it. For anyone else who has problems mounting this game with Daemon Tools, I'll explain. You probably found disc 1 mounted fine, but 2-4 did not. In order to fix that, you must open the .cue file in Notepad. If you take a look at the difference between Disc 1's cue file and Disc 2-4's cue file, you'll see that the quotation marks are not the same. See how in the original message, the quotation marks are rounded? Delete them, and make sure they are replaced by these quotation marks " ". It seems silly, but that's the answer. Mounting the discs should work no problem now.
One other problem issue I'm having with FFIX is that the game seems to slow down and get laggy and jittery during battles. FPS yo-yo's back and forth from 60 FPS to 15 FPS during the battles. I'm not sure how to fix it, or what I would need to change to do that.
Hey all. I hooked myself up with FFIX from here, unzipped, mounted the first disc with Daemon Tools Lite, played through, everything was fine. When the time came to switch to disc 2 though, Daemon Tools wouldn't mount it. I get a message saying "Unable to Mount Image. File not accessible."
Has anyone else had this problem? I'll post the contents of the .cue file:
FILE “Final_Fantasy_9_Disc_2.bin BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
File name for the .bin file is exactly the same. Don't know why it won't mount though. Any thoughts?
