I assume you are talking about ePSXe. I have read that this is a known bug in v. 1.7. It works fine in v. 1.6 though. So you could make a save state as far as you can, download ePSXe 1.6, load the save state, do a disc change, make a new save state, and load the new save state back on v. 1.7 (or just continue on 1.6).
I have read that mounting the disc2 image in Daemon tools and selecting Change Disc from CDROM also works.
I'm having problems switching discs with the PSX emulator. While I'm not new to emulators I am new to the multidisc/file part of it, never found a PS1 emulator that actually worked until I found this site, so need a little help being introduced to this part of it.
Recently finished Parasite Eve disc 1, however when I try to change to disc 2 I can't seem to do it. When I go to file -> change disc, it doesn't matter which file I pick (the .cue or the .bin), the screen doesn't change, it just continues to say "Insert disc 2". Disc 2 starts up just fine when I try to just simply start with that one, but since you can't save between discs I can do nothing with 2 at the moment.
Am I doing something wrong or is my file messed up or what?
