Please don't kill me for asking this

I really dig this site and all but I don't know if I'm crazy or stupid or if there is no way to save a game if I am just playing it in my browser. I want to spend my company time playing Pokemon Crystal but I'll be damned if I start battling those little guys with no way to save a game. Am I just missing something?
