Re: August's rant

Good rant. I've listened to some of the dialogue of KotoR and it seems quite flimsy. Not engrossing at all, so I would see why you might want to hold down A. The depressing thing is actually making yourself doing it, to tell yourself its ok. Even if you do, though, it still takes away from the game because you're upset about it. At least that's how I would feel.
I'm glad to hear someone actually voicing why they like ff6 over ff7. Its refreshing, because I feel similar. Onto ff7- you said it wasn't that fun because it wasn't that challenging, and that you needed none of the powerful extras to beat the game. Well, I suppose that game carries itself in more ways than the challenge factor. The story itself is quite engrossing. The materia system is fun, the girls are pretty. Great music, and other qualities, I suppose. If you get the bahamut Zero and other bahamut summons, they are just beyond awesome. As for actually needing them, search for Emerald weapon under the sea and see if you can beat him without looking at a F.A.Q. For him, having Knights of the Round touches on only the beginning of what you need. You need to be bad to beat that mofo. And that's interesting (i've never done it.)
p.s. Once you save your game in Sephiroth's Crater (last area) you can't get out. Don't know if you knew that or not.
"o i c wat u did thar"
I've posted a new rant for August. I was a little hesitant getting started but once the ascii started flowing I was having trouble turning it off. I touched on a few things that I've always wanted to talk about but have never heard anyone else talk about, so I figured I'd throw it out there.
