You should have waited and bought the C920 that was $65 a week ago. C920 is full 1080p and does all the compression on the cameras board instead of using the computer to do all the heavy work.
I think I'll wait instead for when that portrait of Octopussy shows up on E-Bay; thanks. :-)
I've kind of splurged enough right now as it is; I bought a Genesis and Atari game last night ("Vectorman 1" and "Keystone Kapers").
I also purchased a HD webcam to improve my online videos. This webcam was a Logitech release that was at a temporary discount, and it ran for $45 instead of $100, so it was a deal I knew I shouldn't skip. Logitech has discontinued support for this particular webcam (C905, if I have the model number right), but it's been around long enough that Ubuntu should properly support it, and the webcam does everything I'm wanting it to do; it even has the improved framerate I'm wanting. :-)
