My guess would be either "Solar Jetman" or "Blaster Master".
If it was an Atari 2600 game though, I'd say it was "Cosmic Ark".

This may seem really really funny to people but I am looking for a game I am pretty sure it is a NES game. I can't remember the name of it, but I remember part of the game play of it. This is where it gets funny. The only thing I can remember of the game play is, that you fly around in an orange spaceship, and you can get out of it for brief periods of time.
I could be mistaken, and if I am please let me know. I know this is vague, and isn't alot of help but for anyone who reads this message thanks for your time.
