Re: Where Can I Rent Games?

The last time I checked, Streaming was your main option in most cases, since the gaming consoles I know of use online access anyway to support Multi-player modes. I admit I'm not terribly happy with this method; I've never been fond of having to go Online just to get something up and running. To me, it's much like having to leave a game CD in your PC the whole time you run a game, even though you already have the game installed on your harddisk.

Now that Blockbuster has died where do people rent video games? I mean, I know about Gamefly but if the game is new and popular it seems impossible to get it within a month. I know Redbox offers some titles for $2, but it's very slim pickings and availability is an issue. So what's left? Also, with all that's developing in the gaming industry does game renting have a future?
