go to config, then check your video plugins and try different plugins and different configs with it. try petes plugin and go to nice config to see if that helps.
First Time User. My battle screen does not show the typical options below the characters in there fighting sequence. Where there should be a "blue" screen with options like Attack/Magic/Items etc. There is just a black screen with a small blue bar.
Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/CkbLjzC.png
The options are there essentially, because when I click around I can hear the cursor moving and if I press the default attack button I can attack.
Here are the steps I took to get the game going:
Donwloaded ePSXe
Downloaded FF7.z
Extracted the File using 7zip, as suggested on Vimm's Vault
The extracted file turned the FF7.z into a FF7.bin
I ran ePSXe and opened the FF7.bin file using "Run ISO"
The game loaded fine, opening cut screen looks great, but just the battle screen seems to be the issue.
Anyone have that issue or any thoughts on what the problem might be.
I am running Windows 7.
