That actually looks like it would still be great fun as smart phone game. Might have to see if anyone has put it on the Google store.

Hunt the Wumpus on the TI-99/4a. It's probably the first console/computer game I ever played. Very memorable, especially the music and sound effects. Anyone who had a TI-99/4a probably had this game.
