I suspect that the emulator writes to the memory card in its own custom way, so it wouldn't be compatible with saved data from legitimate consoles. If that's the case, it would make sense if it wiped clean any card it hasn't used before. - Tricob. "Glass Tiger for life! "

There's at least one YouTube video about installing and using it (though you can skip the bit about filters unless that's your thing). It's a great emulator without any faffing about. The guy made his own BIOS for it and the compatibility rate is very high. I've had one or two games that I don't know how to run yet, but maybe I'll figure that out. It's quite simple to use and there's not much configuring to do.
