Quite simply, there's one person who goes around to sites with manuals, removes any watermarks, then posts them on his site. He doesn't even have the decency to mention where they came from. So, a watermark on each page makes it much more work for him to take them. Replacementdocs was a goldmine for him and he leeched it dry with ease. He's singly responsible for making many sites like mine quit in disgust. Out of respect for everyone he's harmed I won't post his URL.

All of the manuals on this site acknowledge the person who spent the time and effort to create them and that will never change. To me doing anything less would be just plain wrong.

OK, I know this is an extremely touchy subject, but nevertheless, I have something to ask:
Why is it that you watermark all pages in manuals? It can be kind of intrusive at times, and I would think you would only need one watermark at the beginning, like Replacementdocs.
