I believe I already have complete NES,SNES,GB, GBC,GBA and Sega Gen rom sets compressed and everything. I would have to check backup drives top be sure but if they were interested in adding them to the database as 1 file it may save some work.

I think that indeed, this would be a good idea, but only for systems which have, as you said, a low size. I'd say 1-5 Gigs at max.
