Well since you haven't really explained the problem very well, I can't be of too much help.
First off, you need to make sure the file you are running is one of 5 file types:
GCM
ISO
WBFS
CISO
GCZ
Now I know that ISO and WBFS files can be Wii games, but I am very certain that GCM files cannot be, but I'm not sure about the rest.
You need to make sure you're attempting to run that through Dolphin, no other file.
Another problem might be your specs, is there any message when you try to launch it? If so, post them here so we can help more, please.

Hi, I downloaded the Wii Emulator Dolphin and the Mario Kart Wii ROM but was not able to run it. Was not sure if it just doesn't work or if I was doing something wrong?
