If you're talking about the first Sonic The Hedgehog, it wasn't possible to do that. That 'reving up' thing didn't come into play until the sequel. Or atleast thats how is was on the ones owns I owned. lol
I realized there was no control config for sonic the hedgehog. I know A ,S, and D are jump, and the arrows control him. But how do you do that super spin thing that sonic was able to do? You use to be able to sort of rev up sonic before letting go. On the Genesis it was down and either A or B.
