Because those programs are not updated to current standards, and you don't have to pay for either 7zip or Winrar.
Thanks for the reply! It makes me pay for Winrar and those programs giving me problems worked fine for some games but has problems with others for some reason, they're all PS1 games. I'm confused as to why the programs don't just work for all the rom zip files.
