Game Description:
Dragon Warrior III is the third game in the long running Dragon Quest series (Formerly known as "Dragon Warrior" in North America, before Dragon Quest VIII released in 2004). III is one considered to be one of the best in the original NES series (At least in Japan lol, IV is considered to be the best instead in NA), especially because for greatly expanding upon Dragon Warrior I and II.
Dragon Warrior III adds a class system, in which each character has a certain class. While the hero always keeps the Hero class, the other characters can choose among the following: Soldier/Warrior, Fighter, Pilgrim/Cleric, Wizard/Mage, Merchant/Dealer, Goof-off/Jester, and Thief. The choice of class greatly affects the character's stats and spells he or she can learn.
Furthermore, upon reaching level 20, a character may change classes at Alltrades Abbey. Another innovation is an arena where the player can place bets on the outcome of monster battles. Dragon Quest III features a much larger world than its predecessors, as well as a much larger array of items, equipment, magic, and enemies. It was intended to have even more features, including a small medal system, but these additional features were cut from the original release to save space.
Even thought III sets in the same "Erdrick Trilogy" with I and II, there is no signs of the legendary hero Erdrick at all! Odd... Or maybe Erdrick is hidden in the game? But in III, it seems you are the descendant of the legendary hero named Ortega. In fact, you're his very own son/daughter! (Yes, you can choose gender in this game) Instead of Alefgard and Torland, now you're adventuring in a new world that has been taken by the Archfiend Baramos! Defeat the evil forces and solve the mystery of Erdrick's dissappearence in one of the BEST RPG on the Nintendo Entertainment System!!

Hack Description:
This hack is designed to revive an old classic with some new balance features and a much higher difficulty.
Changes:
-Enemy stats generally increased, particularly their damage.
-More thorough redesigns for late-game enemies and bosses.
-Merchants now enhance the party's item drop rates by an average of 50% and increase gold by an average of 25%. They can also use Falcon Sword, have substantially improved stats, and can wear much more equipment than in the original game. Plus they can activate almost any spell-casting weapon in the game (and there are more of these than in the original game).
-Wizard's early game spells, spell learning rate, and agility have been improved substantially, but their late game performance is largely the same as before.
-Soldiers now gain bonus defense equal to level/2+2.
-Fighters now have more claws and are more offensively oriented.
-Pilgrims now have better physical damage output.
-Goof-Offs now have improved equipment selection and stats, though still don't perform optimally in combat.
-It is now possible to class change into Goof-Off.
-Equipment re-balance plus NEW equipment, such as the evasion-granting Dark Robe, the fire-resistant Wool Robe, the crit and miss rate altering Gambler's Turban, the powerful Icespears casting Fangs of Fenrir claw, the luck granting Blessed Helmet, and more! (see below for more details)
-New drops from enemies and higher drop rates across the board (see below for details)
-Class changing from a 0 MP class to a class that gains MP now starts you with an amount of MP based on your Intelligence.
-Golden Claw curse is now only in effect in the room it is found in and the claw casts Bang when used in combat.
-Parry/Fight and Hero's 8 spells bugs removed.
-Cursed equipment is no longer destroyed when uncursed, and has also been made more useful, having some new, powerful, and unique effects to accompany their downsides (see equipment lists for details).
-When enemies are immune to a spell, flavor text now informs you that the enemy is immune.
-Seeds of Vitality and Intelligence now grant HP and MP proportional to the Vitality and Intelligence they give.
-And much more!
