Game Description:
Dragon Warrior III is the third game in the long running Dragon Quest series (Formerly known as "Dragon Warrior" in North America, before Dragon Quest VIII released in 2004). III is one considered to be one of the best in the original NES series (At least in Japan lol, IV is considered to be the best instead in NA), especially because for greatly expanding upon Dragon Warrior I and II.
Dragon Warrior III adds a class system, in which each character has a certain class. While the hero always keeps the Hero class, the other characters can choose among the following: Soldier/Warrior, Fighter, Pilgrim/Cleric, Wizard/Mage, Merchant/Dealer, Goof-off/Jester, and Thief. The choice of class greatly affects the character's stats and spells he or she can learn.
Furthermore, upon reaching level 20, a character may change classes at Alltrades Abbey. Another innovation is an arena where the player can place bets on the outcome of monster battles. Dragon Quest III features a much larger world than its predecessors, as well as a much larger array of items, equipment, magic, and enemies. It was intended to have even more features, including a small medal system, but these additional features were cut from the original release to save space.
Even thought III sets in the same "Erdrick Trilogy" with I and II, there is no signs of the legendary hero Erdrick at all! Odd... Or maybe Erdrick is hidden in the game? But in III, it seems you are the descendant of the legendary hero named Ortega. In fact, you're his very own son/daughter! (Yes, you can choose gender in this game) Instead of Alefgard and Torland, now you're adventuring in a new world that has been taken by the Archfiend Baramos! Defeat the evil forces and solve the mystery of Erdrick's dissappearence in one of the BEST RPG on the Nintendo Entertainment System!!

Hack Description:
Bugfix #1:
The "character creation overflow" bug.
When creating a new character, this bug would result in glitches to other characters' spells and items, if you had reached the maximum number of characters (eleven).
It could result in the Hero learning a lot of spells early, but not being able to cast them outside of battle. It could also result in other characters gaining or losing spells, or items.
This will no longer happen.
Bugfix #2:
The "baseline overflow" bug.
After a certain level, characters would stop making significant gains in stats that they previously had high gains in. This was an error and was not intended by the developers.
It was most obvious with the goof-off, who would stop gaining more than one point of luck at level 25. Other characters would also experience this bug at higher levels -- for instance, the fighter would stop gaining strength or agility at level 55.
This has been fixed, and stat gains will now work as intended at high levels.
