Truxton is an action shooter game for the Sega Genesis.

Truxton Genesis Special/Tatsujin Mega Drive is a color, sprite and background graphics edit of Tatsujin/Truxton. This brings this already very good port (considering the early release and limited ROM size) closer to the arcade version, e.g.
- icons closer to the arcade version
- "Super Fighter" sprite has differently colored wings again
- skull explosion edited
- projectiles edited for better contrast
- restores the fire birds and spears in stage 4
- extra background details inserted missing in the original port , e.g. green lights in stage 1, rhomibic ground textures in stage 2
- ...

Note:
- strangely this game plays and sounds closer to the arcade version when played in PAL mode (not a hack thing, the original version is like that as well)
- patch works with all versions, as this is a "world" rom with no region specific releases. Title screen changes depending on region setting
