Streets of Rage 3 is an action beat ‘em up game for the Sega Genesis, and at one time was the final installment of the "Street of Rage" saga. The game offers substantial improvement over its predecessor, including a more complex storyline, multiple endings, faster and more agile gameplay, more variety of situations in each stage, hidden characters, and much more. Due to the dwindling popularity of the beat ‘em ups in, the series would not see another entry for quite some time.

Beavis and Butt-Head are added as playable characters into Streets of Rage 3. Stewart Stevenson is also playable character. The in game text has been updated to be more moronic. Some sounds changed also.
