Hack Description:
DBZ: Assault of the Saiyans is one of the more tedious RPGs to play, whether considering the DBZ card RPGs or RPGs in general.
It can take hundreds of the same few variations of battles in order to defeat the first boss.
As such, this patch gives 3x BP (this game's attack/defense stat and also its experience stat). This makes progressing through the game a lot less tedious.
In an effort to not destroy the balance:
You will not receive 3x BP from the King Kai fight (gives Goku 5,600 typically, whereas 16,800 would make Goku's base power higher than Vegeta's).
Nor from the Vegeta fight (he gives 10,000 BP and it is the end of the game, but this is in an effort to preserve the game's tournament mode and because end of game passwords can be used in the second game).
There are 3 patches:
[li]JtoJ is for the original Japanese game and retains the language, but with 3x BP.[/li]
[li]JtoU adds RedComet's v1.01 patch and the 3x BP patch.[/li]
[li]UtoU takes the already patched for English game and gives it the 3x BP patch.[/li]
Hopefully this will alleviate the main issue people have with this game.
