A war with the aliens was ended with victory of the Earth, thanks to secretly developed battle robots named SERDs. Years passed and wounds from this war were healed. Humans once again divided into multiple nations. And, as always, started to make a more powerful weapons. A new and much more powerful battle mech prototypes named VECTOR were developed and subsequently build. And while Takuya and his team were testing them, some unknown enemy VECTORs attacked their base.

Vixen 357 is a turn-based strategy RPG game developed by the same team responsible for the Langrisser games. Those who remember and like Langrisser games will feel right at home with this one, but it also has its own distinctive features, so it’s not just "Langrisser IN SPACE!!". All characters can use different mechs and weapons, and there are special attacks. Many situations require to use some tactical thinking, so you cannot just rush headlong into things for the most part.

The war of 2384 against the aliens ended with a narrow victory of the Earth. One of the major contributors to victory was the high-mobility humanoid weapon system "SERD" developed in secret by the Asian Federation. It is now year 2396. Merisma Harp, one of the recently created countries, has developedits own VECTORs (a weapon that surpassed the performance of the SERDs). A special task force called "Slash" was formed in order to test the latest prototypes. And so, VECTORs were finally thrown into real combat.

This hack changes the next aspects of the original game:

- all weapons have been modified (damage, range, ammunition, etc); Also, they have been renamed.
- some attributes of the player's mechs have been slightly changed (mainly defenses and hp), and some mech´s arsenal has been modified as well.
- several NPC allied and enemy mechs have been modified.
- the status words have been replaced by more common RPG genre abbreviations; for example AP = ATK, DP = DEF, etc.
