Chrono Trigger is a SNES RPG similar to the Final Fantasy series. The story takes place in many different time periods ranging from the pre-historic days to the end of time. It has a "New Game +" mode and 13 different endings (determined by when you choose to battle the final boss) so the replay value on this one is through the roof.

This hack for Chrono Trigger brings in new content as well as an increased difficulty, if you're into that sort of thing! Here are a few of the changes:


The unused songs Battle 2 and Singing Mountain are included in this hack, and you'll be bound to here them at least once!

Some palettes of characters are changed to match their official artwork, like Magus, Flea, Dalton and Heckran. (These aren't all the palette changes, just a few.)

References to Chrono Cross are added.

Some dialogue is changed to be less inconsistent with the original Japanese version, although Frog still speaks in his unusual way.


If you don't want a harder difficulty, you can choose the Jr. version of this hack that keeps all the changes but no increased difficulty.
