Mega Man 2 is a platforming game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Following the gameplay of the first Mega Man game, Mega Man 2 has new features, like Robot Master stages increased from 6 to 8, E-cans that replenishes health to 100%, and support items/platforms 1, 2, and 3.

After his defeat, Dr. Wily created his own Robot Masters and continued his desires for world domination. Mega Man is the only one who can stop the evil scientist once again. But before he could reach him, he needs to defeat Dr. Wily's Robot Masters and obtain new powers from them.

This hack was a request by Garrett Gilchrist on behalf of Indie Gamer Chick in their pursuit of hacking ROMs to be more accessible to those with epilepsy.

This hack has removed all full-screen flashes. They are as follows:

[li]Flashing during boss fights (such as in the background like with Metal Man, when attacking certain bosses, and the flashing after beating certain bosses)[/li]
[li]The purple flashing when Dr. Light gives you special weapons[/li]
[li]The map of Dr. Wily's castle when progressing to the next stage[/li]
[li]The final cutscene, including the seasonal transitions[/li]
[/list]

Hopefully this hack has made this game easier to enjoy for those who are extra sensitive to flashing lights.
