Mega Man 5 is a platforming game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Dr. Light is kidnapped by Proto Man and its up to Mega Man to save him. But first, Mega Man must defeat Proto Man's army of Robot Master before reaching his stronghold.

Unlike Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5 has the enhanced, wider Charged Shot. But the gameplay mechanics are the retained. Aside from having by his side his companion support robo dog Rush, a new robo bird named Beat joins him, created by Dr. Cossack.

AV NORMAL - The intended game design with no difficulty tweaks including the G. BUSTER

LITE OG - The intended game design with MEGA BUSTER instead of the G. BUSTER

300 - AV NORMAL WITH THE SPEED PATCH (good for replays)

LITE 300 - AV NORMAL WITH THE SPEED PATCH AND MEGA BUSTER

ROB - AV NORMAL WITH THE SPEED PATCH AND 1-HIT KO MODE (The HARDEST mode)


Tips:
-You can press SELECT (or Select+Down) to SWITCH WEAPONS at ANY POINT
-Your G BUSTER is more versatile then you think
-The first 8 ROBOT MASTER LEVELS can be beat with just the default BUSTER and RUSH
