Game Description:
Super Mario 64 is an action/platform game for the Nintendo 64 released in 1996. Mario's first game on the N64 and his first 3D game, it is praised for its transition from 2D to 3D and is considered one of the best 3D platformers ever made.

(Apply this patch to the original ENGLISH Lug's Delightful Dioramas patch, then patch the resulting patch to your Super Mario 64 ROM.)

A version of Lug's Delightful Dioramas that has been reprogrammed and optimized to run on a real Nintendo 64 in addition to emulators.
By utilizing the F3DEX2 engine and an optimized Mario model, this game runs at decent speeds on real hardware, even in the most demanding areas. This cannot be said about most Super Mario 64 romhacks that have been ported to the Nintendo 64. While still not perfectly smooth, it runs about as well as the average commercial Nintendo 64 game. (It certainly runs better than Banjo-Tooie or Conker's Bad Fur Day.)
However, porting this game to console did introduce a few minor bugs: Firstly, during testing, the game crashed a few times on good condition hardware, meaning it is slightly unstable. Also, some gate textures will not render, leaving the player to encounter invisible walls in their place. (Not as annoying as it sounds.)
The other two known issues are the missing custom intro sequence, and that the music in the second stage often does not play.
- Requires an expansion pak
- Currently only available for the English version of Lug's Delightful Dioramas
