Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is an action role playing game for the Nintendo DS.
This game is the sequel to Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.

Soma Cruz, being the rebirth of Dracula, has the power to capture souls and use them to fight monsters. After destroying Dracula's Castle in Aria of Sorrow, he returned to an uneventful life.
A year later, a cult leader named Celia Fortner appears, summoning monsters to attack Soma who then finds out that his power to capture souls hasn't faded. As Celia threatens to create a new Dark Lord, Soma and friends go to Celia's castle to thwart her plans.

Shanoa is playable in Dawn of Sorrow!

Glyphs were recreated to the best of my abilities, within Dawn of Sorrow's limitations. Some come in soul form (enemies that drop glyphs have a "G" in front of their names, **other enemies drop no glyphs/souls**) and some come in weapon form (they're exclusively found throughout the castle and have regular weapon icons. Yes, Ignis' icon is a gun).

Balancing might not be perfect (kind of hard to balance this many changes!), but it's also not super broken, so it should be fun!
