The DS version of Dragon Quest IV had Party Chat removed for its Western release. This patch restores it by adding the text files from the mobile port of the game, which did include translated Party Chat.

While the older Party Chat patch, which used the JP release as a base, had several issues (i.e. Couldn't name hero, hero's gender was ignored in dialogue, awkward text formatting), this newer patch is based on the USA release. That means all of the older patch's errors are fixed! This should be the definitive way to play the game.

You will need the USA (En,Fr,Es) .nds ROM for DQIV and XDelta Patcher. If you want to patch the JP version, you will need my patch for the JP release, which uses an older process.
