Maniac Mansion is a point-and-click graphic adventure game by LucasArts in 1987. It was ported into the Nintendo Entertainment System by Jaleco in 1991.

This game is about the Edison family: Dr. Fred, a mad scientist, Nurse Edna, the wife of Fred, and their son Weird Ed.

After all these years, it's surprising that nobody has hacked any NES games to support the SNES mouse. Well, that changes here, because here's a mouse hack for Maniac Mansion. All you need is a SNES to NES adapter cable that can easily be constructed from a couple of extension cables or purchased from MisterAddons, and a SNES mouse. Patch your Maniac Mansion ROM, plug your SNES mouse into port 2, and you're ready to go!
