Game Description:
Super Mario Bros. is a platforming game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1985. When Bowser invades the Mushroom Kingdom, it's up to Mario to stop him and save the Princess.
Hack Description:
This is the sequel to the infamous representative work of OSO, "MMM (TRIPLE-M)", and is cherished to be his last ever ROM hack before permanently retiring. The stage structure is simple, only consisting of World 1-1 & 2-1.
1-1 contains one unusually long stage. Warp through all the different areas using pipes.
The difficulty level here is fairly low and vanilla, and can be cleared on an actual console if you work hard.
Only the last area, Bowser, is quite tricky, but if the player can get used to it, save states aren't needed.
A few of the sub-areas uses mild tricks & techniques, such as entering from the back side of a sideway pipe, but one should be fine otherwise.
The colour and design of the stages were carefully chosen to appeal to the eye.
"Devil's spell" glitch is prohibited in the first level.
The *real* problem here being 2-1 (as the "New Quest"). To be frank, it is not expected for the average player to go through this.
This specific level is impossible to clear without the frequent use of save states.
It is mandatory to use all sorts of glitches in your "SMB1 moveset inventory", including all sorts of walljumps and wall-clipping.
This is meant to be a hidden stage after all, so if you are confident in your skills, why not give it a go?
