Final Fantasy is a role playing game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

This patch adds compatibility between the mods "GFF (Grond's Final Fantasy)" by Grond and "FF3 (NES) Sprite Backport" by Hans, allowing the two to be used together without graphical glitches. To use, install GFF first, then FF3 Sprite Backport, then the compatibility patch.

All credit for the mods affected by this patch, but not the patch itself, goes to their respective creators. Said mods must be downloaded and installed before installing this patch and can be found at the links below.

V1.1 UPDATE: Fixed an issue with Ninja's battle sprites not being imported properly

V1.2 UPDATE: Making any changes to battle palettes with GFFHackster appears to break the "Run" option in battle. Therefore, the patch has been remade from the ground up the old-fashioned way to resolve this and any other as yet unknown problems. V1.2 can be safely installed on any ROM already using a previous version of this patch or on a fresh ROM after following the original installation instructions above.

V1.3 FINAL UPDATE: Fixed one byte unintentionally changed in the last update. This compatibility patch is now considered final and will no longer be supported in the future.
