Game Description:
Banjo-Kazooie is an action platformer game for the Nintendo 64.
Hack Description:
UPDATE:

This an improvement to the one that was released on June 22, 2024. This one includes the "Gu-Huh" sound that Banjo makes during the intro title sequence. Please use this version instead of the earlier one.

MOD DESCRIPTION:

This mod removes the background music in the USA v1.0 of Banjo-Kazooie. It's worth nothing that this mod is by far superior to the available disable music GameShark code, as well as the disable music option available in the XBox Live Arcade version of the game. Jingles such as the one that plays when a jiggy appears, when you collect a jiggy, collect a jinjo, collect all jinjos in a level, get an extra life statue, complete a honeycomb, the transformation music, as well as the beginning "da na na na na na" jingle of the wading boots, turbo trainers, and gold feathers have all been kept, in order to maintain the character of the game.

CODES:

Within the readme file, you will find codes that are recommended to enhance the experience of the game.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The first version of this mod was finished on August 15, 2023, but the release was delayed, due to concerns regarding whether it should be released with the combined widescreen patch. In the end, it was decided to release this mod without combining the widescreen patch, but instead providing users with the widescreen code, which is just as good.
