Game Description:
Super Mario Bros. is a platforming game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1985. When Bowser invades the Mushroom Kingdom, it's up to Mario to stop him and save the Princess.
Hack Description:
Super Mario Bros: Definitive is a very fantastic hack, combining the best of both Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2 (the FDS one) into one seamless adventure. But, what if it was made even better?
Super Mario Bros: Definitive Tweaks is a collection of patches ported from the original games which seek to improve upon an already great project in several small but significant ways:
[li]"Spiny Egg Behavior Fix" enables the Spiny Egg behavior originally intended by Nintendo, allowing Lakitu to take aim with greater precision and allowing spiny eggs to bounce off walls.[/li]
[li]"Warp Zone Scroll Lock Fix" enables the Warp Zone boundaries to work as intended, stopping the screen from scrolling just before it's revealed. (Unless the player is at the top of the screen, of course.)[/li]
[li]"Super Mario Bros. Graphics" replaces all Super Mario Bros. 2 graphics with their Super Mario Bros. counterparts, giving the game even more of a retro vibe.[/li]
[li]"Super Mario Bros. Luigi Colors" changes Luigi's colors back to his classic white-on-green outfit from Super Mario Bros. without changing his unique physics.[/li]
Try them out! Mix and match! And above all: enjoy your already amazing game with just that little extra splash of something more!
