Wny would anyone use snes9x?Here's why:

I agree with all the criticisms of snes9x (except maybe for the part about the interface--the comparison above seemed to undo the argument), but there are a few games which I can't get to play right on zsnes (which I use about 99% of the time). Equinox II, for instance, on zsnes; whenever my little guy picked up a treat like a potion or food or whatever, the game froze entirely. This doesn't happen when I play it on snes9x, but I do have to put up with some squint-making blurriness! "What doesn't kill you doesn't make you stronger, it just doesn't kill you."

I'd tried them all, and HQ3X was much the least blurred (certainly less so than Super Eagle, which, like the others, made it seem that I was looking at the screen through spectacles [which I don't wear]) and the best on the whole, but still very slightly blurred. SNES9x's standard display produced images of inferior quality generally but without that specific minor irritation. I shall probably continue with zSNES.
