That's different from waht I was told to do for SNES patches. THe patch I want to use is for the GBA game Tales of Phantasia. IN the readme file of the patch it said to use ips.exe but i don't know where to find it and google isn't really helping me.
SNES Tool 1.2
1. Open SNES Tool and use the keyboard arrows to select "Use IPS".
2. Find the .IPS patch file using the arrows and press enter.
3. Find the ROM file (unzipped) and press enter.
4. If done correctly it will say "IPS patched OK".
