Oh, okay - I think I see what you're doing here now. When you download a ZIP file containing an emulator, you can't just run the EXE from within the ZIP. You have to extract the EXE and all the files that come with it into a folder. You then run the EXE file from the folder you extracted it to.

NO...ok look, the setup to download an NES emulator runs, after that its supposed to open the file or you click on open, then the Download starts right? ok after the setup is thru, I click on...open...a command prompt window flashes for a second then dis-appears. then nothing else happens. BTW- using windows xp. for the record.
