No, I mean hi-rez field models. The battle modles can't be used because they don't function the same was as the field models. Those hi-rez field models looked just as sweel as the ones used during battle. Also, there's a high-rez Cloud model as well. This version was used in the game though, during that last scene with Sephiroth. His model contained a few differences such as higher detail textures, showing detail in his clothing and muscles. There's a way to use this model in both the PC and PSX versions as well. With the PC version, all is needed is a patch; a PAR or GameShark is needed to "unlock" it in the PSX version. A remake is something that game needs if you ask me, with better graphics, sound, and music engines.

Clearly they had hi-res models because the battles were fully 3-D and those models looked a heck of a lot nicer. I never knew the development had been cut short though. I knew that Barret lost his gang-speech after disc one but figured that was just a localization time shortage.
