Re: A (detailed) question regarding download speed

I'm confused whether this is a downloads question really or if this is about the performance of the rom itself. So what exactly is happening when you say the game doesn't work very well? Emulation isn't perfect and ps3 emulation will always take some fairly decent hardware to run. A performance issue can be anything from the emulator just not fully supporting the rom, a setting needing to be switched to off/on or your computer just not being able to handle the demands of the emulation.
Hey! I know, download speeds are probably a topic that the frequenters of Vimm's are sick of to death, but I do have a bit of a unique situation that I haven't seen. So, one day I'm checking Vimm to see what's going on, and I discover that PS3 emulation is now just a thing that's on the site, which is really cool. I download Persona 5 because like everyone else who has thought of PS3 emulation, that's what I wanted to play since it's been a while that I've been able to play P5.
The download takes me about an hour or so. Totally fair. The game doesn't work very well, though. I assume that it was just a bad dump of the files after messing around with the emulator's settings a bunch, so I delete it for the sake of storage and try with a new download of the game, just split up into different parts. That doesn't work either, and seems like more trouble than it's worth to play a game I already have bought twice on PS4 taking P5R into account, but you know.. it's all about the novelty.
So here's where the situation becomes troublesome. I come back to try again with the ROM dump of the game here, and I see that it's supposedly going to take about a 15 hours to download???
So I'm wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this. Now, keep in mind: all the circumstances from both downloads are the same. I try getting other games, particularly Persona 4 Arena and 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, and they also boast some pretty nasty download times for the size of those games. So, is there any explanation for this?
