The checksums are supposed to be "bad". The rest of the ROM remains the same.
Remember, Vimm's Lair is about nostalgia and emulation, not ROM-collecting. The ROMs are purposely given bad checksums so people can't ignore that. :-)

Vimm, I've noticed when using the SNES roms I downloaded from your site are all marked as bad roms using this utility I was recommended to use by a ZSNES developer called NSRT. It found all the checksums failed and that the roms are either copy protected to the point where they don't work or they're just bad period. Can you confirm if your entire SNES rom vault is bad?
