Whatever happened to Cherryroms?

Just wondering.....I've been out of the loop for a few years and believe it or not, just recently discovered they are no longer around. A friend of mine said they got hacked?? If this is true, its no wonder. Those moderators over there were total a$$holes, especially to new people. They probably pissed off the wrong people or something.
