Let's try narrowing down the possibilities here.
Does this game let you talk with people, too? I remember at least one game matching your description, and it had this feature. As far as the castle thing goes, I didn't get far enough in the game to know; I think the laptop with the game started misbehaving on me after I passed a few levels. :-(

At the start of the game when you go underground for training I think you are wearing a green outfit. The training involved jumping on platforms and dodging knives. I think when you finished the training you recieved a weapon (not sure what).
I have some sort of memory that on the way to the sky castle you have to climb up buildings and there is one part where bee's attack you?
