This doesn't surprise me at all. IE has a growing reputation for security issues. MS never fully recovered IE's popularity after multiple, security-based lawsuits involving IE 6. Consumer complaints regarding the new IE release (Version 7, IIRC) doesn't help matters.

Sorry about that, I had added some code to track screen resolutions and it wasn't frames friendly so IE would just load a blank page. I've moved it to a different page so it works properly now. Did you know that 40% of visitors to Vimm's Lair use 1024 x 768? And only 5% use 800 x 600. Boy have times changed. And of course, 52% use IE which is why so many people couldn't get in. Strangely, 40% use FireFox which is way above the worldwide average. Anyway, that kind of info is really handy when you're maintaining a web site.
