Re: Emulator installers

I honestly haven't downloaded much in the past six months. Somewhere around May or June, my OS decided it didn't want to stay Logged In anymore, and I was left with no choice but to re-install the OS, wiping out everything that was on it. >:-( Couldn't been a lot worse, though. I had over 90% of my data backed up, and that which I lost I could either download or type up again from an old printout. I was just starting to get into N64 game emulation when the OS problem came about, so that experience was a little discouraging. I was also doing the second scene of a Spider-man story and never recovered that, and haven't really wanted to go back to it. But its first scene sucked, anyway. :-) I admit I haven't gone back to N64 gaming since the OS problem. On a brighter note, I did find a copy of RTCW for $2 at a thrift shop last week. :-) - Tricob. So a few months ago I made simple installers for all the Windows emulators in the Emulation Lair. Aside from some initial comments that they didn't work in Vista (which was fixed) I haven't gotten any more feedback since. I'm working on some new features for the next batch and was wondering if they're working for everyone, and if people like them or not. Typically silence is a good indicator but I wouldn't mind some feedback or suggestions on them.

The next installers will remove an existing Vimm's Lair emulator before upgrading, ensuring that only one copy shows up on the Add/Remove Programs list. I'll also be sure to test them in Windows 7.
