The Incredible Hulk finally gets a game to perfectly visualize his destructive abilities! Control the Hulk to defeat military foes and other great forces as you smash, destroy, and weaponize anything Hulk can grab with his giant green mits!

Graphics: 6
Since this game is an open-world GTA clone of sorts, the graphics had to be dumbed down in order to compensate for the consistent action gameplay it offers. If anything it looks like an upgraded PS1 game to compare it to anything. The CGI cutscenes are obviously the best looking part of the game, admittedly being a bit crusty at a few times.

Sound: 7
The sound score is mainly raised up from the music score. Heavy orchestrated pieces mixed in with tribal chase theme scores really fit into the missions Hulk has to complete. Although the main sounds can get really loud especially when you destroy everything, all you'll hear are explosions and metal crushing. Overall the sound isn't amazing, but it does the job done okay.

Gameplay: 9
The gameplay is simply amazing. Hulk has a whole arsenal of moves I can't fully list here without ruining the experience. Hulk has a number of combos he can execute with his fists and feet, but can also grab things twice his size to use against his enemies. He can also weaponize certain object to use to his advantage, one of the biggest selling points of this game. For example, the Hulk can turn a regular car into 'Steel Fists', which does double damage to enemies as long as he's wearing them. The movement is also very good to boot as Hulk will need to travel great distances to his objectives. He can chain giant jumps for great gaps, and climb and run on walls for maximum momentum, truly creating an unstoppable force as is the Hulk.

Overall: 9
The game takes the Hulk from the Ultimate Marvel comic books and makes him the beast that he is in a destructible sandbox world. The story is pretty good, too. I only say its good because of the serious tones it takes for Emil Blonsky, one of the antagonists for the story. Other than that it losses focus on what it wants to focus on, as you can see if you go through further in the story. I highly recommend this game for those who want a true Hulk experience, or just want a game where they can let loose a bit.

This game is what defines other games later in the future, as this game was made by Radical Entertainment, the same studio who made the [PROTOTYPE] titles. Unfortunately, the company was shut down months after the second title.
