NO...ok look, the setup to download an NES emulator runs, after that its supposed to open the file or you click on open, then the Download starts right? ok after the setup is thru, I click on...open...a command prompt window flashes for a second then dis-appears. then nothing else happens. BTW- using windows xp. for the record.

Are these DOS-based programs? Many won't start at all unless you specify a game to run when starting it at the command prompt. For example, the lower versions of LoopyNES wouldn't start unless you entered like this at the command prompt:

>LOOPYNES SMB3
