1) Copyrights, as far as I know, don't exactly last 100 years.
2) To be a non-pirate site, it is not necessary to have works that are in the public domain (After all, you don't call the Internet Archive a pirate site just because it contains copyrighted content.). And if we talk about Vimm's Lair, it is not a pirate site because it exists to save video games, most of which are now impossible to buy legally anywhere.
Moreover, if Vimm's Lair really was a pirate site, it would have already been providing ROMs from current systems like PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch. (In the FAQ section, it is clearly stated that Vimm's Lair will not provide ROMs for games from systems that are still in production, and to be included on the site, the system must be at least two generations older.)
how is it not a pirate site? the oldest console on here is the atari 2600, 49 years ago, so the oldest game on here would be 49 years old, and copyright lasts 100 years. i'm just confused here
