| Good game for shovelware standards. Basically Mario Kart with NASCAR. I'd recommend it to NASCAR fans just for fun.
Graphics: 4 Okay for the time and budget. But compared to the others in the same genre? Not even close! Not to mention the flat reflectionless models. Sound: 3 The audio is bearable, but every character speaks gibberish and that gets annoying pretty fast.The sound effects are pretty bad too, but the voices are what pushes this game to a three. Gameplay: 6 Above average, about what you'd expect from a Mario Kart clone. But if you go and compare it to the real deal kart racers it simply doesn't even come close! Plus, 99% of the power-ups are stolen from Mario Kart. Overall: 6 Fun for the occasional play session, but not a very good game overall. I'd recommend this to the NASCAR fan with low standards. Far from the best game, but good for the occasional multiplayer race, but definitely not as good as Mario Kart. |
